The campaign between the State of Israel and Iran, which erupted openly in June 2025, is no longer a distant geopolitical conflict. It is a direct consequence of years of intensification of terrorism funded, managed, and operated by the Islamic Republic of Iran throughout the Middle East – from Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria, through Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, to Shiite militias in Yemen, Iraq, and Syria. Iran has turned regional instability into a strategy: every country, every people, every resident of the region has become a hostage in the service of a single goal – the elimination of the State of Israel.
A country located 2,000 km from Iran is repeatedly attacked by a regime that openly declares its intention to destroy it. What can a sovereign state do? Wait?
From Hamas to Tehran – The Connecting Thread
The war with Iran was not born in a vacuum. It stems from the deadly events that began in October 2023 with the Hamas attack in southern Israel, which exposed the depth of Iranian influence on Palestinian terrorist organizations. Behind every missile, every tunnel and every bomb – stood Iran. Israel understood that fighting metastases alone is insufficient. The fight must focus on the head of the octopus.
Iran skies – Israeli achievements
When the campaign against Iran turned from “secret warfare” to an open confrontation, Israeli superiority became clear. Iran’s air defence system – the one that is supposed to protect nuclear facilities, missile bases and control canters – is completely silent. Israel, with the help of air forces, cyber and intelligence at the level Globally, it controlled the skies of Iran, carried out precise attacks and managed to damage critical military and research infrastructures – all without dragging the entire Middle East into an uncontrollable spiral. This is proof of Israeli capabilities that are not inferior to and even surpass those of many superpowers.
Impact on the Home Front – and Economic Challenges
Even when the front in Iran is burning – the Israeli home front stands strong, but at a price. Missile attacks from distant areas, a continuous threat to northern and central communities, and economic uncertainty – all of these create considerable pressures. However, the Israeli economy is showing impressive resilience: high-tech continues to operate, exports are stabilizing, and markets are reacting relatively moderately. Many countries understand that Israel’s stability is important for global business, and especially for technological security.
Restoring the International Acknowledgment
After years of erosion of Israel’s image in the media and in global public opinion – due to the war in Gaza and aggressive pro-Palestinian propaganda – The campaign in Iran creates an opportunity to re-explain Israel’s position: a small, democratic country, surrounded by threats, but committed to Western values of the sanctity of life, innovation, and freedom. The support that Israel receives from countries such as the United States, Britain, Canada, Greece, Australia, and others indicates that the world is beginning to re-understand the significance of Israel’s existence in such a turbulent region.
The big question: Why don’t most countries in the world openly, transparently and loudly support the State of Israel, even though the facts are clear?
The answer lies in a deep misunderstanding of the reality of the Middle East. Many Western countries view Israel through the lens of colonialism and occupation but forget a critical fact: Israel is not an empire. It is a beacon of innovation, freedom, and the pursuit of peace in the heart of a region riddled with dictatorships, fundamentalist monarchies, and terrorist organizations.
The State of Israel – despite all its weaknesses and complexity, is the only country in the Middle East that is based on freedom, gender equality, scientific, technological, medical and humanitarian progress. Its strength is an asset to the free world. Its attackers – are the threat.
In conclusion
The campaign against Iran is a necessary battle not only for Israel’s security, but for the future of an entire region. It reveals what Europe, and the US only understand too late: Israel is not a country that seeks to conquer – but a country that seeks to survive.
Those who support human rights, progress, life – must support Israel. Those who allow Iran and its proxies to burn the region – are complicit in the crime.
Israel is not alone. It is on the forefront – but it is also the protective wall of the West.
